BUCKWHEAT BINGE

Ok girls here is the basic guideline for the diet…This diet is quite rigid but very effective. You can loose up to 12 pounds it says in 7 days. Its a diet from Russia that my friend found online and a girl at work has done it and says that it really works. It is not a long term diet or lifestyle, it is a drastic diet to drop pounds extremely fast while getting enough nutrients and vitamins. 

BUCKWHEAT BENEFITS

It may surprise some people to learn that buckwheat is actually a fruit even though it is commonly thought to be a grain. Buckwheat is a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel.
Whole buckwheat is a very nutritious food. The protein in buckwheat contains the eight essential amino acids and is also high in lysine. Buckwheat is also rich in many B vitamins as well as phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese. Buckwheat is also a good oil source of Alpha-Linolenic Acid, which is one of the two essential fatty acids we must have to be healthy.
 

KEFIR BENEFITS

The regular use of kefir can help relieve all intestinal disorders, promote bowel movement, reduce flatulence and create a healthier digestive system. In addition, its cleansing effect on the whole body helps to establish a balanced inner ecosystem for optimum health and longevity.

Kefir can also help eliminate unhealthy food cravings by making the body more nourished and balanced. Its excellent nutritional content offers healing and health-maintenance benefits to people in every type of condition.

The way of cooking is very simple: pour fiercely boiling water into 2 cups of buckwheat and let sit for an hour. You can have as much buckwheat as you want, there is no limit for how much you can have. It is extremely healthy, nutritious and very filling so you wont feel dizzy or lightheaded or fatigued like you would normally feel on these crash diets.

You can eat the buckwheat with nonfat yogurt or kefir as you would granola and yogurt. The kefir is limited to 1 liter a day and the yogurt is limited to 20-30grams of yogurt.  Unsweetened tea, coffee, and water are allowed as much as you want. It’s even recommended to drink not less than 2 litters of liquid per a day.

Your last meal should be not less than 4 hours before going to bed.

You may substitute 3 apples or 3 oranges instead of eating yogurt or kefir a day.

Alright girls here we go!…It seems pretty simple so we shall seeee. In a nut shell we eat fuckwheat and kefir for 7 days, some apples oranges and get coffee tea and water. Cant be that bad right ??..lol lets try to blog each day to keep everyone at this!…they say the 4th day you dont want to even look at buckwheat anymore, so were going to need eachothers support. Record your weights as well so we know how much we are losing and how fast we are losing it.

THE weekend damage

damn you weekends

I realized my problem. The weekends. I do so well during the week and then once the weekend comes its all downhill from there. All it takes is one slip and I lose all self control and justify every french fry and beer I put in my mouth.

I did so well last week and was down to 161 on Friday. Now it is Monday and I am now 165. Its like a vicous cycle.

I ate pretty bad on Saturday so I figured hey why not and had french toast, and cheese fries, pizza and garlic knots and three beers with dinner last night lol  I think I may limit myself too much during the week that I also crave everythinggg bad for me even more. I need to find a balance.

Anybody have the same problem with staying on track for the weekends? Or any ideas how to?

Day 1..howd everyone do?!

I had a rough day yesterday with the sweets as Bridget found out lol..Besides all the candy and nutella I had I did fairly well the rest of the day. No excercise though, I need to get my butt moving.

I made some whole grain pasta with olive oil, zuccini and chicken for lunch and dinner tonight. I found that I eat so much better and am less tempted to slip on my diet when I cook. I am really going to try to make my three meals home at least 5 days a week. Also I just threw out all the sweets in my cabinet, I have no self control when the stuff is there!

I am going to try to get myself to the park today to run…what are you guys doing for excercise?

Hey girls!! Holy crap we have our own blog! I dont know about you guys but Ive always wanted one! haha were like real bloggers now :)

 Ok this site is a little confusing at first, it took me a while to figure out how to use it but its really pretty simple. Its pretty much Myspace for fatties lol

The first thing, after you register and fill out your basic info..click on TRACKER on the top tool bar. Then click on WEIGHT GOALS. And fill out the goals you want for yourself and what you want to get out of this. After that, this tab will be the way we keep track of our progress individually.

 The blog is mostly for motivation and a fun way to see how everyone else is doing, encourgagement, comments etc….  the rest of the tabs are self explanatory. You can add your picture ( or before and after), add new recipes, tips, explain good days bad days, leave quotes, shit talk u know ;)

Each time you post there are three check boxes under the area where you blog that you can add your weight ticker, food log and excercise log, or add new photos to the blog.

I plan on updating and keeping track everyday if possible and I hope you all can too!

Cant wait to start getting rid of the chub rub with you all :) loveee you
